Mark Cain
Robert A. Garrett Professor of Pediatric Urologic Research - 2017 - 2019
Dr. Cain received his fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic, and is based at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. His primary clinical interests are surgical reconstruction of congenital anomalies of the genitalia, complex lower urinary tract reconstruction, management of prenatal urologic abnormalities, and surgical management of urinary tract obstruction. Dr. Cain has published over 160 articles and book chapters regarding various topics in pediatric urology, and has been an invited lecturer and Visiting Professor internationally.
Dr. Cain has served on the Exam Committee of the American Board of Urology, and on the Pediatric Editorial Committee of the Journal of Urology. He is a past member of the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatric Urology, Section on Urology and is Chair-Elect of the organization. He is a Past-President and Executive Committee member of the Society for Fetal Urology.
