Dr. Kenneth Kesler is a Professor in the Department of Surgery and serves as the Surgical Director of the Thoracic Oncology Program. His main research interests are esophageal cancer, lung cancer, thymoma, and germ cell tumors. As a nationally and internationally recognized thoracic surgery with multiple publications in esophageal cancer research, he has spearheaded gene expression and biomarker studies in esophageal cancer.
