Veena Antony

Dr. Veena Antony began her medical training at the Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, India. She went on to complete an internship and residency at New York’s Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. Later, she focused her fellowship training on pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine.
Dr. Antony began her career at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) in 1983 as an assistant professor of medicine. She was promoted to associate professor of medicine in 1989, associate professor of pediatrics in 1989, and full professor in 1994. She earned the additional title of professor of biochemistry and molecular biology in 2001. In 2002, she became a titled professor, earning the title of Dr. Calvin H. English Professor of Medicine.
