Dr. Guise's current research program encompasses skeletal complications of cancer and cancer therapy. Funded programs include those on TGFbeta signaling and bone metastases, role of hypoxia in bone metastases, adrenomedullin in bone metastases, endothelins in pathological and normal bone remodeling. She did her Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX 1992; her Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Health Center, Pittsburgh, PA 1988; and her M.D. at the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA 1985.
