Brian Weiss is currently a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and the Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology/Stem Cell Transplant at Riley Hospital for Children. He has previously served as the Medical Director of the Solid Tumor Program and the co-director of the Neuroblastoma Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. His work has been directed at investigating targeted therapies for neuroblastoma and also for NF-related plexiform neurofibromas. He is also committed to applying Improvement Science theories to patient safety problems. In fact, he has worked diligently to sustainably reduce errors around chemotherapy delivery by over 50% for over 5 years while at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and published this work. He plans on continuing this effort at Riley Hospital for Children.
