Dr. Arthur H. Owora has been an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at IU School of Public Health-Bloomington since 2019. He received his PhD degree in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Oklahoma University in 2015. He has over 15 years of experience in research design, methodology and statistical analysis in bio-medical, socio-behavioral and health services research. He has collaborated and continues to work with various multi-disciplinary research and service teams as a principal investigator, co-investigator, biostatistician/epidemiologist/evaluator, and consultant on grants funded by the National Institute of Health, Department of Justice, State Government, Pharmaceutical Companies and Non-Governmental Organizations such as the Makerere-University Johns Hopkins University Research Collaboration in Uganda. His child health related research includes but is not limited to asthma, depression, obesity, HIV/AIDS, and adverse childhood experiences.
