Ronald D. Anderson began his professional teaching career at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) in 1973 as an assistant professor in the Division of Business. He was promoted to associate professor in 1975 and full professor in 1980. He earned the additional title of American United Life Professor in 1988. Anderson retired from IU in 2003 with the title of Professor Emeritus.
